Handwara, November 1: In a first of its kind, a politician associated with BJP, Javaid Qureshi, while addressing a press conference, announced bounty of Rs. 5 lakh on a militant he named as “District commander Gazi”.
He said that a poster on social media is viral in which he was threatned either to resign or face death.
“I want to make it clear , I am afraid of none. I am working for people and will do so,”he said and added that he has received threats in past as well.
Addressing media persons in his government accommodation in Handwara, Javid Qureshi a right wing Modi supporter said that he works for the poor people.
” I am no one’s enemy nor a traitor. I work for poor people”.
It is pertinent to mention here that three BJP workers were killed, as alleged by police by unknown militants, last week.
