Srinagar, May 30: Ehsass International Trust started district level oxygen outreach program in view of the demand for oxygen concentrators and cylinders from rural area. As the Covid pandemic has spread to the every corner of the valley the people living in far off districts of valley face lot of difficulties in getting oxygen concentrators and cylinders so as to make its easily available to the people at district headquarters Ehsaas has started this programme.
Ehsass international is running multiple projects on Covid response to mitigate the sufferings of people. “We felt a need that people living in far off places from Srinagar after recovering from Covid or who are in home quarantine are unable to get the oxygen support in case of low saturation. We have been receiving number of distress calls from various places so we started this outreach oxygen program. Today we sent first consignment of oxygen concentrators to Kupwara district where from we were getting number of distressed calls”, said Tabsum Geelani Trustee Ehsaas International.
“We are planning to expand it to other districts of Kashmir valley so as people suffering from Covid have easy access to the lifesaving equipment’s. This all has been possible only because of generous support from our donors who has donated us to purchase these oxygen machines.
