Kupwara :- Dudwan reds trounces Little Champs Sohipora in the final of Dudwan Premier league 2020 Season 4. After winning the toss Dudwan Reds lelected to bat first and scored 150 runs from 16 overs .
While chasing target Little Champs Sohipora lost the final by 15 runs. The brilliant bowling spell by Amir and followed by a near flawless performance in the field led to Dudwan Reds to win the final match against Little Champs Sohipora.
Amir Ahmad was declared Man of the Match and Faizan of Sohipora was declared Man of the Series for his brilliant performance .
In a glitzy prize distribution ceremony, all the players with prizes while Dudwan Reds was presented with the trophy and cheque of Rs 3300.
During press conference Dudwan Reds captain Abrar Pir Said, ” First of all I am very happy it is very tough job to hold the charge of leadership in team and it was not possible for me to led team in final, but I am very thankful to all my senior players and team management who guide me in every match. Thanks to tournament organizers for organizing such beautiful tournaments,hope in future we will see these tournaments. While asking question regarding non availability of ground ,he said it is very sad,but we had already requested Kupwara administration for the same .
Abrar further added ” That i dedicated trophy of DPL Season 4 to Sagar Rouf who met with an accident before some days due to which Rouf was unable to play and has been advised to rest for 4 months.All the team members went to his home along with a trophy.
