Kupwara :- A quarterfinal match was played between Dudwan Reds and Sulkoot Stars at Dudwan . DR won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 162/6 runs in 15 overs of cricket game.
Dudwan Reds opener Owais played good knock, he made 57 runs of 25 balls which led good total on the board and in middle session Abrar and Usaib made 49 runs in last overs which led Dudwan Reds to set a good total on board.
In reply Sulkoot Stars lost their match by 1 runs in dramatic fashion, Afaq’s 66 runs notout with big 9 sixes couldn’t help Sulkoot Stars to win the important match
Dudwan Reds bowlers who performed well in an important match were Owais who took 2 wickets , Ashiq 2 wickets and Abar 1 wicket . Abrar took responsibility on his shoulder and bowled last over 10 runs to win for opponents, where Afaq was on strike with 1 ball 2 runs , but Abars magical ball, he faced the heat, which led Dudwan Reds to win the match by 1 run.
Peer Owais was declared Man of the Match for his 2 wickets and 57 runs .
