Kupwara, 31 oct 2023 : District Hub For Empowerment Of Women- Mission Shakti Kupwara organised one day workshop on POCSO, PCT PNDT Act under the aegis of ” Beti Bacho, Beti Padhao” organised one day workshop at KGBV Gund chabootra Langate.
District Development Council Chairman iRFAN SULTAN PANDITPORI was the chief guest of the programme. irfan sultan pandtpori in his speech said that ” Girl education is very important for peaceful society”
Speaking on the occasion, Zonal Educational Officer Naseer sahb said that educating a girl means educating whole society. So “if society’s progress is concerned we must bridge tha gap between men and women “District Mission Coordinator (DHEW Kupwara) Khalida Yasin highlighted different types of offences and punishments under the act and encouraged the audience to be more practical in approach relating to the offence under the prescribed law…Miss Khaida Yasin further added ” Beti bachao, beti padhao is not only a slogan but responsiblity of everyone” Gender Specialist DHEW kupwara Miss Shagufta gave a detailed explanation of POCSO and PC PNDT ACT. Warden KGBV Miss Jamsheeda appreciated team DHEW – MISSION SHAKTI KUPWARA for organising such type of programme…Lunch WITH LAADLI as an initiative motivating students to improve their understanding of education,nutrition and a healthy lifestyle and aspirations ..Lunch was shared by Chairman District Development Councillor IRFAN SULTAN PANDITPORI, ZEO Naseer Sahb,District Mission Coordinator ,MISS khalida yasin ,officials from DHEW TEAM,Officials from KGBV.
Educational Kits were distributed among the students by chairman District Development Council kupwara .
