Dist. Administration Kupwara conducts Cleanliness drive at Bungus

KUPWARA, OCTOBER 17: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone today inaugurated cleanliness drive at tourist spot Bungus, here.

Speaking on the occasion, the ADC said that the district administration Kupwara puts all possible efforts to develop required infrastructure and services to facilitate the tourist visiting the virgin beauty of famous Bungus tourist spot.

He said cleanliness drive is part of the efforts of district administration and the aim of the drive to inculcate the sense of responsibility among general public and visitors to preserve the natural beauty like Bungus Valley.

ADC said that there is already a separate Lolab-Bungus-Drangyari- Development-Authority (LBDDA) to look after the development of the tourist spots of the district including Bungus.

He said the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj has collaborated with the LBDDA to ensure cleanliness of the Bungus Valley.

The ADC was accompanied by District Panchayat Officer, Shujaat Ahmad, and other concerned government functionaries.
