Kupwara, August 27: Taking a strong note of a press conference by Traders Federation Kupwara, in which doctors were called “Murderers”, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Kupwara has termed it highly derogatory and Condemnable.
In a press statement the CMO Kupwara has stated that the person who have given such statement must apologize as it “demoralolise the medical fraternity….. and can lead violence against the staff”.
The statement further stated that ” Some people with vested interests are hellbent to tarnish image of doctors and SDH Kupwara “
The statement has given facts about the hospital also on how many OPDs,Admit patients, surgeries, ECGs, digital xrays, dialysis etc.
According to this data, the hospital has around 24078 patients in OPD, 2147 admitted (IPD). The doctors have also done 90 major surgeries, 300 minor surgeries, 95 LSCS, 713 ECG, 1161 USG, 1436 dialysis, 25 Dopplers, 2547 digital X Rays, 97 HRCT, 179 CT Head and hundreds of normal deliveries.
It is pertinent to mention here, that Traders Federation Kupwara president Showkat Masoodi had called a press conference to address the grave issues of SDH Kupwara. In the press conference besides trad federation members, DDC member Hyhama also addressed press conference. ( kupwaratimes.com )
