National Conference has no moral right to speak against delimitation report…AIP spokesperson
Sgr. Feb 06: Awami Ittihaad Party (AIP) spokesperson Firdous Baba in a statement has said that the proposed report of Delimitation Commission is nothing but a step towards the communal and anti Kashmir agenda of ruling dispensation. There is nothing justifiable in the report but it is an exercise to pave a way for BJP in Jammu so that there is an upper hand in the coming elections of the party. There should have been a proper consultations and representation from all sects of the society and everyone should have been taken into the confidence. But people of the earnest while state are hopeless and do not expect anything good from the government. AIP spokesperson also asked National Conference to clean its stand on delimitation as the party on one side becomes a collaborator of Delimitation Commission and on other hand leave no stone unturned to oppose the proposed report. NC can not play dual role and they have no moral authority to oppose the said report. The party seems to be very confused as per the report is concerned. People have every right to ask them that why NC participated in the delimitation exercise. Mr. Firdous has said that National Conference owe an apology from the people for participating in the process of Delimitation. If they (NC) really mean what they claim before media then they must make it public that what their delimitation proposal.
