Srinagar, Nov 12 : The Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) candidates who are contesting the forthcoming District Development Council (DDC) polls, Thursday filed their nomination papers.

The PAGD, according to the list, available with the news agency (KNO) had fielded 27 candidates from three parties including National Conference, Peoples Democratic Party and Peoples Conference.

According to the list, 21 candidates belong to National Conference while four are from Peoples Democratic Party. It further mentioned that 2 candidates belong to Peoples Conference.

Meanwhile, PAGD spokesman and PC Chairman, Sajad Gani Lone in a tweet said that all the candidates approved have filed their nomination papers.

“PAGD candidates approved for first phase have already filed their papers. List was conveyed to the parties. I am tweeting this in response to some media reports of list not having been issued yet,” Lone tweeted.

Pertinently, PAGD, an amalgam of top mainstream leaders unanimously decided to contest the upcoming polls in Jammu and Kashmir unitedly.
