KUPWARA, JULY 22: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir today convened a meeting of concerned officers to discuss and finalize the preparations for celebration of Digital J&K Week, commencing from July 25 to 27th.
The ADDC Kupwara, Altaf Ahmad Khan; SDM Lolab, District Head KVK Head, ACP, CAO, CMO, Principal of various Degree Colleges, DIO, Dy. CEO and concerned attended the meeting.
The DDC said that the objective of celebrating Digital J&K Week is to popularize and promote the e-Services, made available by the Government to ensure good governance. He said 183 services are mandatory to be provided online to the people adding that only Revenue department has 30 services which area being provided online. Likewise, the DDC said that Social Welfare, Youth Services & Sports, Health, Education, Cooperatives, Excise & Taxation, Legal Metrology, Fisheries, Forests, Geology & Mining, Housing & Urban Development, Industries & Commerce, ICDS, JKBOSE, Jal Shakti, Pollution Control Board, Labour & Employment, Agriculture and allied departments are providing most of services online.
The DDC said that 25 stalls will be installed in the mela at Government Degree College Kupwara (Bohipora) and fixed responsibilities to all line department officers and directed them to accomplish the responsibilities in a better way so that people at large could get the benefits of conducting celebration of Digital J&K Week. He said that during the mela Revenue department will provide Land Passbooks for which one village in each tehsil has been selected.
ADDC Kupwara was asked to supervise and provide guidance to the officers wherever required for the successful conduct of the programme, besides, participation of people.
The EO Municipal Council Kupwara shall make necessary sanitation and cleanliness of the venue well before the commencement of the event. Likewise, Shamiyana will be installed by EOs of Municipalities of Kupwara and Handwara. The BDO Kupwara will provide chairs, tables etc.
ADC Kupwara/ District Informatics Officer NIC were asked to ensure the compilation and submission of daily reports. They were also asked to provide e-Services including JKLRMA- Land Records, Aap Ki Zameen Aap Ki Nigrani. The DTO Kupwara were asked to display information and provide services regarding BEAMS and Jan Bhagidari. Likewise, LDM will provide services of MPAY, Digital Payment Service, Jan Dhan, Cashless transactions, MUDRA Loans, PMSBY, PMJJBY, APY and Digi Locker. ACD Kupwara has been asked to provide information and services regarding BEAMS, RAS, Jan Bhagidari, e-UNNAT, individual initiatives done by individual PRIs etc.
Accordingly CMO Kupwara, CEO, Principals of GDCs and Polytechnic College, EOs, Officers from Agriculture and allied departments and Executive Engineers, Project Manager NRLM and other officers were given directions to provide general information about their e-Services.
Regarding arrangements, Executive Engineer KPDCL Kupwara was directed to ensure uninterrupted power supply and availability of sufficient number of extension cards/wiring at the venue for the mela.
ACD, ACP and LDM were given the responsibility of printing of brochure, banners and hoardings as per the templates to be provided by the IT department. DIO Kupwara was asked to ensure coverage of the event, besides, providing PAS for IEC vans in coordination with CSC District Coordinator. CMO Kupwara was directed to keep requisite medical facilities available.
The DDC urged upon the Principals of the Colleges to ensure participation of students on rotation basis in the melas, besides, arrange painting competitions, seminars, quiz programmes, entertaining /folk activities with regard to the celebration of Digital Week. He said it is high time to dessiminate real information among the youth so that they can avail different services online provided by all Government departments.
Regarding publicity and print material, DDC asked concerned officers not to confine the publicity material at the venue but also distribute and display in major Government offices, prominent places and towns.
Meanwhile, in a separate meeting, the DDC asked CMO and other officers to ensure implementation of Covid SOPs in their offices.
