KUPWARA, JANUARY 24: Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Imam Din today visited Sogam block of Lolab sub division. During the visit, he took stock of snow clearance and inspected functioning of Sub District Hospital (SDH), Sogam. He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone.
The Deputy Commissioner inspected various wards of the Sub District Hospital Sogam, interacted with patients and enquired about the facilities being provided to them from Hospital Administration. He inspected various sections of the hospital including OPD, IPD, Gayne, X-Ray section and other units, besides, checked duty roaster of the doctors.
The Deputy Commissioner also inspected the newly constructed Hospital building and assured for installation of sanitation and electricity for its proper use.
On the occasion, the people put forward demand for female doctors in Gayne section and specialist for running ultra sound facility in the hospital.
The Deputy Commissioner assured the people for fulfilling their genuine demands in a time bound manner. He expressed satisfaction over the patient care services being provided by the hospital administration.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned to maintain patients record visiting both in day and night.
Earlier, Incharge BMO, Nazir Ahmad apprised the Deputy Commissioner about the overall working of the hospital.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner inspected several lanes and by lanes of the Sogam town. He took stock of snow clearance process and was satisfied for the work done on the ground.
