KUPWARA, NOVEMBER 14: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikant Suse today conducted extensive tour of Kalaroose block of district Kupwara to review the progress of developmental works and issues of the public.He was accompanied by ACR Kupwara, Peerzada Mumtaz Ahmad; ACD, Arshad Qadir and other concerned officers.
During the tour, the DC inspected ongoing work on the construction of Gujjar & Bakerwal Hostel Kalaroose coming up at a cost of Rs.375 lakh. He directed the R&B Department to speed up the pace and ensure completion of the building within the given timeframe.
He also inspected ongoing construction of public library which is being constructed by RDD.
The DC held an interactive meeting of officials and prominent residents at BDO Office Kalaroose.The DC sought feedback from the concerned officers about the developmental profile of the CD Block Kalaroose and was also apprised by the people about the developmental issues of the area. Various demands and grievances were projected before deputy comissioner on this occassion. DC assured time bound action in response to these issues.
To check the health facilities provided in the area, the DC paid a surprise visit to PHC Kalaroose and enquired about the staff position, availability of drugs and patient care.
He also visited HSS Kalaroose and enquire about various issues of school as well as reviewed academic peformance of the school.
