KUPWARA,Aug 7: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan Monday convened a meeting of Revenue Officers at Mini-Meeting Hall of DC Office Complex here to review the progress of Quality Check of digitalized Jammabandies and updation of Backlog Mutations.
At the outset, ACR Kupwara, Irfan Bahadur while appraising the chair about the latest progress regarding status of Quality Check of digitalized Jammabandies said that out of total 379 Jammabandies of 16 tehsils of Kupwara district quality of 304 Jammabandies have been checked and verified.
The DC reviewed Tehsil-Wise progress of quality Check and sought feedback from Tehsildars.
The DC directed Tehsildars to speed up the certification and freezing of Jammabandies so that the process is completed.
While reviewing the backlog mutations, DC directed Tehsildars to cross check every entry of the Backlog Mutations so that the process becomes error free.
DC gave a deadline of next 10 days to complete the exercise of quality check, certifications of digitalized Jammabandies and backlog mutations.
DC directed officers to stick to the deadline of 10 days and complete the exercise.
Meeting was attended by ACR Kupwara, Tehsildars and NTs and other concerned Officers.
