Says Campaign will run in H&WC, AWCs
KUPWARA, AUGUST 7: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan today inaugurated Intensified Mission Indradenush (IMI) Campaign at Sub District Hospital Kupwara. Chief Medical Officer Kupwara, Dr. Ramzan; Medical Superintendent, besides, Doctors and medical/paramedical staff were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that the aim of Intensified Mission Indradenush Campaign is strengthening vaccination coverage in the district. She said that the IMI was already in place and U-Win Platform has been introduced in it which is new software for keeping the vaccination record in a digitized format. She added that 542 children of 0-5 age group who are either new born or dropouts will be vaccinated this week in Kupwara district.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the IMI Campaign will run in every health facility of the district including Health & Wellness Centres and Anganwari Centres for cent percent coverage of vaccination.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner provided vaccination to an infant and interacted with his mother.
