Kupwara, Feb 18: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan, inaugurated Critical Care Ambulance Services at Quality Health Care Hospital, Bramri, aimed at strengthening emergency medical response in the region, here on Tuesday.
Equipped with advanced life-support systems, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and oxygen supply, the ambulance will provide timely and specialized care for critically ill and trauma patients, bridging the gap between primary healthcare centers and tertiary hospitals.
Speaking at the event, DC Kupwara highlighted the significance of efficient emergency medical services in saving lives, especially in remote areas like Kupwara. She emphasized the need for well-equipped ambulances and skilled medical personnel to ensure seamless patient transport during medical emergencies.
The newly launched Critical Care Ambulance is equipped with advanced life-support systems, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, oxygen supply, and other essential medical equipment. The service is expected to enhance pre-hospital care for critically ill and trauma patients, bridging the gap between primary healthcare centers and tertiary hospitals.
Principal GMC Handwara and CMO Kupwara lauded the initiative, stating that such advanced medical services will significantly improve healthcare accessibility in the district. SSP Kupwara also appreciated the collaborative efforts of the administration and healthcare sector in strengthening emergency response mechanisms.
