DC Kupwara flags off Tiranga Rally


KUPWARA, AUGUST9: As part of “Meri Maati Mera Desh” Campaign, Pahari Hostel Kupwara today organized a Tiranga Rally of students which was flagged-off by Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan.


Chairman MC Kupwara, Reyaz Ahmad Mir; District Information Officer, Iftakhar Naseem; EO, Naveed Aijaz, CO CRPF 162 Bn, Vinod Kumar and Town Commander was present on the occasion.


The Tiranga Rally started at Pahari Hostel Dudwan and culminated at General Bus Stand Kupwara.


Speaking at the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that the rally is a part of “Meri Maati Meera Desh” Campaign to honour the matyrs of freedom struggle and local heroes.
She appealed the people to actively support the campaign to make it a grand success.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner administered Panch Pran Pledge to the participants including officers.
