Kundian, Kupwara | July 13, 2025:As part of the ongoing Kargil Vijay Diwas celebrations, Day 2 witnessed a vibrant display of patriotism and enthusiasm at Government Boys High School Kundian. The event was organized by the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion (Kundian Company) in collaboration with the school authorities.
The day’s activities began with a patriotic poster-making competition, where both boys and girls from various classes participated with great zeal and creativity. The young minds poured their feelings onto paper, creating powerful visual tributes to India’s heroes. Through their art, the students expressed deep love for the country and immense respect for the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the Kargil War.
Parents of the participating students were filled with pride and gratitude. They thanked the Indian Army, especially the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, for their continuous efforts not only in safeguarding the region but also in shaping a better future for the local youth. One parent shared emotionally, “The Army has shown our children a new direction – one filled with hope, pride, and purpose. Celebrating Kargil Vijay Diwas like this means the world to us.”

This two-day celebration leading up to Kargil Vijay Diwas (July 26) has been more than just a tribute—it has become a community-wide moment of reflection and renewal.
