Pledges to work for the DAK Kupwara observes Doctor’s Day With Austerity Amid Corona 19 Pandemic of medics in the valley.

Today celebrated National Doctor’s Day_ with austerity following all the Covid 19 protocols and Dedicated this day in memory of the Frontline Covid Warriors who lost their lives fighting the Covid 19-Pademic and pledged to raise awareness about the issues ailing medical faternity held at DTC Conference Hall Kupwara today.
Speaking on the occasion President DAK Kupwara Dr Ayjaz Ahmad Bhat thanked the whole medical fraternity across the UT of J&K for working tirelessly to uplift the health care facilities during Covid-19 Pandemic and applauded the role of Doctors, Paramedics, Sanitation Staff in providing best services to the masses of the Valley. DAK will work tirelessly to address all the issues related to Medical Professionals across the Valley, He further added.
Sharing his experience, Dr Mohd Maqbool Sheik Senior Surgical Consultant Distt. Kupwara said that Doctors fraternity should honestly work for the better healthcare facilities and stressed to follow medical ethics while dealing with the patient care.
Dr Ashaq Hussain Bhat, Vice President DAK Kupwara revealed in detail the activities/achievements of Doctors and Paramedics in the District amid Corona Pandemic and stressed upon the authorities to address the genuine demands of the Medical Professionals in a time bound manner.There are reports that some miscreants under fake email IDs are sending anonymous complaints against medicos to satisfy personal vendetta. As per the law
authorities should not take cognizance of such anonymous complaints without properly ascertaing the particulars of the complaints, he further maintained.
Dr Ab Gani Dar DHO & Senior Founding Member of DAK threw light on the historical overview of the establishment of DAK and the role of pioneers in the establishing the organization for the betterment of Doctors.
Lambasting the fake social media groups/WhatsApp News Portals for spreading baseless and fake news reports about the Medical fraternity, DrAyjaz Ahmad Senior Medical Officer DH Handwara said that some Social Media Groups are busy in maligning the image of Medics in District Kupwara which in turn has demoralized the medical fraternity during Covid-19. The Government should take concrete steps to put an end to such smear campaigns, sensationalism, rumor mongering by taking stringent actions against them.
Stressing for the unity Dr Sheik Mohd Iqbal Senior Consulting Physician, said that unity is subordinate to strength and we all need to come forward to fight against the injustice faced by the Medical Professionals across the valley and DAK should take concrete majors to work for the betterment of Doctors in the valley.
Dr Mohd Iqbal Mir In- charge Blood Bank/AMT Principal Kupwara said that the medicos are working as a shield against Covid 19 Pandemic and delved in detail about the issues pertaining to doctors fraternity in District Kupwara and put forth some valuable suggestions in this regard. The Medical Professionals are showing exemplary dedicated amid Covid-19 Pandemic, he further added.
While talking on the occasion Sr Vice President DAK Kupwara Dr Gulzar urged the medical fatenity to work together to fight against the corna pandemic by providing better health care facilities to the valleyties. In this hour of crisis we all need to sacrifice our personal interests and unite to fight against this vicious virus.
