In view of worsening COVID situation in Kupwara District, Army joins in the efforts of civil administration in spreading awareness amongst residents of Trehgam by traveling in all interior roads and announcing through loud hailer.
The Awam was requested to wear masks, not to congregate and maintain social distancing. They were told about symptoms to look for and quarantine discipline. Helpline number was also announced and in case of any assistance or help they were told that the Trehgam Company was just a call away.
The compassion and efforts of the Humdard-E-Kupwara Battalion were really appreciated by the village elders as it was a different sight for the locals to see soldier mounted on ‘Rakshak’ vehicle with loud hailer in place of weapon.
