COVID-19: District Administration Kupwara distributes 26200 qtl rice during lockdown

Kupwara: District administration expunges illegal entries for 1947.84 Hectares of Kacharie Land”

Kupwara :- District Administration(DA) Kupwara has adopted multipronged mechanism to successfully ensure lockdown in the district. On one hand District Administration strictly applied
section 144 crpc across the district, while on other hand home delivery of essential goods is being made. During last one week Administration distributed 26,200 quintal rice among the consumers at their door steps ,besides ,mid-day-meal-ration to 48270 students. Likewise, LPG cylinders and Medicine was provided to 13,350 and 1750 households respectively during the same time.
A strong awareness campaign was launched in coordination with DIPR Kupwara unit to convince people to remain in door and avoid any kind of gathering during lockdown period in the district.
According to daily media bulletin issued by district administration, a total number of 2169 persons have been enlisted for observation.1913 Persons, having out-state or abroad travel history have been kept under home quarantine, 90 persons have been kept under administrative quarantine and 6 persons have been kept under hospital quarantine. The bulletin futher reads that all 5 blood samples taken for test are negative.
