Srinagar, January 29: One LeT militant has been killed in an encounter at Charar-i-Shareef area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday.
Official sources told, that one militant belonging to LeT was killed while as an AK56 rifle has been also recovered from the slain militant.
Earlier, reports reaching GNS that a joint team of Police and Army launched a cordon and search operation in Charar-i-Shareef area.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.(GNS)
