Kupwara: In a broad day attack in Bhagat Srinagar, where two policemen were shot at and later succumbed , one Mohd Yusuf Bajard is from Kupwara’s Zirhama village.
As reported by a news agency KNO, two policemen who were critically injured on Friday after they were attacked by the suspected militants in Baghat area in Srinagar outskirts have succumbed to their injuries.
The news agency has qoutes an unnamed police police official, “The two policemen deployed at the spot were critically injured and they were shifted to hospital for treatment, where they succumbed”
A family member of Mushtaq Bajard confirmed kupwaratimes.com that one among the policemen is Mohd Yusuf Bajard from Zirhama
“I lost my uncle in this ‘terrorism attack at Bhagat Srinagar”, read a statement by Chaudhary Mushtaq who was recently appointed as BJP ‘s ST Morcha J&K secretary.
