KUPWARA, AUGUST 12: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Imam Din, an awareness rally regarding implementation of COVID-19 Appropriate Behavior(CAB), was taken off from BMO office Vilgam. The rally, coordinated by District Information Centre, Kupwara, was attended by Health workers & ASHAs and Angan Wadi Workers of ICDS department went through various markets of Vilgam Ramhal and culminated at Tehsil Office Vilgam.
The participants were seen with placards and banners in their hands displaying message that people in general should not show any negligence with regard to compliance of Covid Appropriate Behaviour. The message was that people should not lower the guard against COVID-19 pandemic, else should follow COVID-19 SOPs in letter and spirit.
The rally was flagged off by BMO Vilgam Dr Ghulam Rahim in presence of CDPO Ramhal while as the programme was coordinated by the Nodal Officer. The rally was conducted as part of Azadi ka amrut MAHAOTSAV.
The rally was escorted by Police up to Tehsil Office Vilgam.
