Kralpora, March 29: Education system and it’s ever evolving teaching methodology has helped the students to have a better understanding and knowledge of the subjects. Combining education with extra co-curricular activities is further an icing on the cake. With an aim to provide opportunity to students to express themselves, today Indian Army organised Quiz and debate competition named “Umang Ki Dor” at Govt Higher Secondary school, Kralpura.The theme of the competition was “India : A Diversified Yet Secular Nation”
The total of 02 Inter School competitions were organised :-
i) *The Quack Wack Quiz competition*
ii) *Unmukt Vichar Debate competition*
Total 05 teams of various schools in Kralpura zone were invited to participate in each of the above mentioned competitions.
A total of 30 students participated in both the competitions. A huge gathering , came at the venue to support their teams.
The Quack Wack Quiz Competitions consisted of 04 rounds i.e
(i) Round 1 : *Elementary Science*
(ii) Round 2 : *Pahchaan Kon*
(iii) Round 3 : *Buzzer With The Power*
(iv) Round 4 : *Rapid Fire *
The quiz tested the subjective, general as well as the current affairs knowledge of the students.
The second competition was the Unmukt Vichar Debate competition. The topic for the debate was “Democracy : A Good Form Of Governance” The enthusiasm, creativity and innovation of the students added charm to the event.
It was followed up by a prize distribution ceremony wherein Winners, of all the three competitions were felicitated with Prizes and Certificate of Appreciation*. Further, to provide impetus to the competitive spirit and creativity of the budding minds, all the participants were awarded with consolation prizes.
Also, the Jury members, School Headmaster and ZEO were given a Token of Appreciation for their cooperation in successfully conducting the fest.
