KUPWARA, FEBRUARY 19: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone who is also holding the charge of District Programme Officer ICDS, convened a meeting of all CDPOs, Health & Nutrition Mobilizers and Aadhaar Operators here today.
On the occasion, the ADC stressed upon the concerned officers and functionaries to work with added dedication and zeal to ensure effective implementation of ICDS schemes at gross root level. He directed them to work religiously to ensure cent percent saturation of the schemes and timely mobilization of proper nutrition to infants and pregnant ladies. The ADC asked the concerned to ensure completion of vaccination process at an earliest.
Regarding Aadhaar enrollment, the ADC directed the Aadhaar Operators to speed up the enrollment process of all left out beneficiaries so that they can take timely benefits under different welfare schemes of the government.
Earlier, the meeting held threadbare discussion regarding implementation of ICDS schemes including Poshan Abiyan across the district. The CDPOs informed the meeting about saturation of various ICDS schemes in rural and far flung areas of the district.
