Tehsildar Kralpora Firdous Qadiri unfurls National Flag at Tehsil office kralpora.
KUPWARA, JANUARY 26: The 74th Republic Day was celebrated across kralpora with great enthusiasm and fervour. The main function was held at Tehsil office kralpora where Tehsildar Kralpora firdous unfurled the National Flag, inspected the parade and took salute at march-past presented by contingents of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, Jawans.Besides, in its first experience, Clutural programs were presented by students of education department zone kralpora.The zonal education officer kralpora Abdul Ahad Lone showed great excellence of his students in the extra co curricular activities.The schools which participated in todays republic day program were KGBV Aloosa,BMS Kralpora,BMS shuloora and BMS Gazriyal. The ZNO kralpora Mir Javid told that due to immense weather conditions students were not able to get assemble at one place so that more programs may have been made and displayed today, but still teachers of these schools worked hard and get the students prepared for todoys republic day.Chief guest of todays republic day Tehsildar kralpora,Zonal Education officer kralpora, SHO Kralpora, CDPO Kralpora,Medical Officers,Range officer forest, Sarpanchs, besides, Police, Army and officers and officials of all departments were present on the occasion.
Addressing the function, Tehsildar kralpora highlighted the historical background of the Republic Day with special reference to Constitution of India. He also remembered the martyrs of the Independence of India.
The Chief guest enlisted the developmental achievements of kralpora. He said various flagship programmes are being implemented which will further boost the development in the block.
Tehsildar Kralpora congratulated Deputy Commissioner Kupwara and his team of officers for putting best efforts in rejuvenating the education system in the district by introducing innovative and novel concept of Zimadari Project.
The Chief guest also appreciated other departments for doing better work in kralpora which include RDD, Education, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture and allied departments.Tehsildar kralpora appreciated the role of media for highlighting the genuine demands of the people.
The Republic day celebrations were also held in all Education institutions of zone kralpora where National Flag was unfurled by the Heads of the institutions.Besides, National Flag was also hoisted in all Government Offices, Panchayats in kralpora.
He paid a special thanks to all departments in general and zonal education officer in particular in making todays republic day program a grand one with some nice cultural events.
At last appreciation certificates were given to some officers/ officials for their remarkable contributions during the past time.
