Kupwara: Committed towards responsive and accountable Policing.
Shri Yougal Manhas- JKPS assumed charge as Sr. Superintendent of Police Kupwara. On his arrival at District Police office Kupwara, he was received by ASP Kupwara, DySP Hqrs Kupwara, DySP PC Lolab and DySP DAR Kupwara.
Immediately after assuming the charge, SSP Kupwara had an introductory cum interactive meeting with all GO’s of the District Police Kupwara. While addressing the officers, SSP reiterated his commitment toward good policing.
SSP unequivocally said that the priority of his administration would be a responsive and accountable police officer. He enjoined upon all the officers to work in tandem and play their role in reinforcing the faith of people on J&K Police. Calling good policing as a corner stone of public peace and prosperity, he urged upon the participants to work with dedication, commitment and integrity. He stressed upon in bringing qualitative changes in District and making Kupwara a drug free zone.
