Lolab: 07 Oct: Unkown persons on Thursday evening destroyed a harvested paddy crop by setting It Ablaze in Dardpora Lolab here in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Reports reaching to the Inside Kashmir states that on Thursday evening some unknown persons burnt a harvested paddy crop and turning into ashes in Lolab Dardpora.
Showket Ahmad,a resident of dardpora Lolab told that “a harvested paddy crop belonging to a poor man Gh Mohd Ganie S/O Mohd Manwer Ganie of Dardpora lolab has turned into ashes after unknown persons set it on ablaze on thursday evening around 07pm.
Gh Mohd Ganie,according to Showket “is very poor and has worked hard throughout the year by different ways including plouging,irrigating,removal of weeds and spraying of manure during sowing season but all has been ruined within minutes”,
The poor farmer have urged to Lolab adminstration as well as district adminstration kupwara to compensate for the loss.
