One Militant Was Killed In Ongoing Gunfight in Saomoh area of Tral in South Kashmir Pulwama District Reports said
Reports Reach , that one militant was killed in initial exchange of fire outside house and after that no fresh exchange of fire was reported,the Militants are believed to be from AGH militant organization. Another militants is believed to be holding up in the area and operation is on to trace him.
Earlier today joint team of Awantipora Police, Army’s 42 RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area as the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them which was retialated triggering an encounter.
Meanwhile internet service was snapped soon after exchange of fire in Police district Awantipora
