Expresses sympathy with bereaved families

Srinagar, Jan 30 : Expressing grief over the demise of NDTV Bureau Chief Nazir Masoodi’s mother and Kashmir Life Chief Editor Masood Hussain’s father, CPI (M) leader Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami on Saturday extended sympathies with the bereaved families.

As per a statement issued to the news agency— Tarigami extended his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved families especially with NDTV Bureau Chief Nazir Masoodi and Kashmir Life Chief Editor Masood Hussain.

He termed the deceased as kind and pious souls and said, “I equally share the pain of bereaved families at this hour of grief.”

Meanwhile, Tarigami expressed grief and sorrow over the untimely demise of trade union leader Ghulam Muhammad Rather of Ganderbal who breathed his last in SKIMS Srinagar.

“Late Rather was associated with trade union movement throughout his career and remained steadfast for the union activities. He was a well known social activist and worked hard for the upliftment of the downtrodden sections of the society. His memories will be inspirational for the working class movement,” Tarigami said.

Tarigami expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
