Separate COVID Care Centre for bank employees to establish in Kupwara

Kupwara, July 14: A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone, here today, to discuss the establishment of COVID Care Centre for bank employees and their families in Kupwara.
It was decided in the meeting that all the banks operating in district Kupwara shall contribute for the establishment of the COVID Care centre which shall be an exclusive facility for the bank employees and their families.

Besides, it was decided that District Administration shall provide suitable space for establishment of the centre which shall be run by the representatives of the banks themselves including the placement of infrastructure at the identified space. Moreover, the day to day expenses for running the facility shall be borne by the banks themselves. However, the District Administration shall facilitate the medical checkups of the inmates through the health department.

On the occasion, all the representatives of the banks who participated in the meeting agreed to take necessary steps for establishment of the centre at an earliest.

Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Bashir Ahmad Bhat, ADMO Kupwara, Lead District Manager, Cluster Head J&K Bank and other officers of the banks participated in the meeting.
