Kupwara, July 09: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Karnah, Dr.Gulzar Ahmed Rather today visited various villages of Karnah Sub Division, where flash flood & hailstorm had damaged crops and fruit bearing trees.
During the visit, SDM visited Ibkote, Thamniya, Gundishart, Draggard and Gundigujran and took stock of the damage of crops and trees caused due to recent flashfloods and hailstorm.
The SDM directed the concerned officers for assessment of the damages caused to crops and fruit bearing trees. He also directed the PHE officials to restore water supply to the areas where lines have been damaged.
The SDM was accompanied by local officers of concerned departments.
