Schools to re-open on 24 February

Timing in urban areas 10am to 3pm & 10:30am to 3:30pm in rural areas

All arrangements are in place: DSEK

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 22: Directorate of School Education Kashmir is all set to re-open the schools on February 24, 2020 after winter break in Kashmir Division.

In this regard all arrangements have been put in place. The school timing shall be from 10:30 am to 3pm in urban areas while as 10: 30 to 3:30 pm in rural areas.

This was stated by Director School Education Kashmir, Mohammad Younis Malik in a high level meeting held in conference Hall of Directorate in which Joint Directors, Chief Education Officers and Zonal Education Officers of Kashmir Division participated. Speaking on the occasion Director said that now from Monday there is a new beginning of academic session, we have to put our heads together to provide better opportunities of education to our students.

He emphasized that teachers should take this session as a mission to accomplish goals of building capacities of the students for their better future. He said that last year children proved their metal and now it is our responsibility to give them full support and ensure they get maximum time to complete the syllabus. He said that field officers and teacher have to work hard for the betterment of educational scenario in valley.

The field Officers were given instructions to visit schools regularly to monitor the follow up of academic planner. He said that officers have to work now as professionals and came up to the expectations of the society as well as the department. He further added that students are our future and there should be no compromise with the education.

He expressed satisfaction on the performance of teachers in winter tutorial and hope that teachers will work with more enthusiasm in the coming session.
