Lolab=30 June: J&K Youth Welfare Forum,Ray of Hope on Wednesday afternoon Organized hours long Drug De addiction Programme in Sogam.The aim of the programme was,how to Eradicate Drug Completely & Collectively.
As per daily based newspaper inside Kashmir which states that hours long drug De addiction programme was conducted on Wednesday at range office sogam.
This Program was attended by Moulana Mohd Shafi Makki,DySP Sogam Aijaz Ah Naik,Kaiser Ah Tantry Asistant Professor, team from Forest Department & team JKYWF.Every guest spoke in the program and collectively decided to work on it so that it could be completely eradicated.
Kaiser Bashir Tantry while speaking on the occasion gave scientific impacts of using drugs & stressed youth to stay away from Drugs menace.He said our youth should focus on cricket,football or other games activities and our college is open for them all time”,
“Good to see our youth are going for trekking on these days while whole world is under suicide threat.Sucide cases are rising rapidly and we should put ourselves engaged.Going for trekking is the good sign for the society”,Professor further added,
Moulana Mohd Shafi Makki tried to understand the impact in Islamic Perspective & said that in our islam its totally prohibited to do such things.
“It can take only our lives and can make our life miserable.We must undertsand the demerits of drug menace”,He also offered every kind of support to the organization.
Aijaz Bhat DySP Sogam while speaking on the occasion said that “there is no compromise with peddlers in Lolab and many peddlers have been booked under different laws in different areas of Kupwara Lolab in Particular and J&K Police is very strict towards it.He said that we need support from everyone,be it from civil or non civil in eradicating drugs from Lolab and then we can make the Lolab drug free valley,
It’s duty of every citizen to bring it in our knowledge about drug menace.If anyone here in Lolab is importing & exporting drugs,inform us and we will punished them according to the law”,DySp Sogam further added,
Mashoq Nawab,a social activist who spoke about how to brought control over this grave issue if not today then when.Lets pledge & shake hands with youths inorder to eradicate this menace as it is a great threat for our future generation.”,
“Those people who are Selling ,importing & exporting drugs should be punished badly as per the law”, he further said
Chairman Of the Organization Aijaz Bhat while speaking, said a focus should be made on Peddlers so that Drugs could be stopped to the extent possible. He said we tried our part by inviting all stakeholders of the Society be it Islamic Scholars, Police, Civil Administration, Sarpanches, Civil Society, Journalists, Social Activists so that a collective and Brief message could be sent to all people either Involved or about to go into it.
Azhar SI Prob briefed about types of Drugs and some clever step to stop it. He explained to the audience with proper examples.
Mohammad Ayoub a Visually Impaired (Blind) also spoke in the event said we need to collectively work against Drug and Drug Peddlers.
