Kupwara, January 09: In an extraordinary meeting of Teachers of zone vilgam held at BHSS Tarathpora,prominent Teacher,writer,columnist and counsellor IGNOU, Rayees Masroor took over the charge of zonal president Teachers Forum zone vilgam.
The programme was attended by an overwhelming number of teachers of zone vilgam and the meeting was chaired by Vice chairman Teachers Forum and district president EJAC Mohd Amin Khan,Trade union leader and VP EJAC Pir Nisar,DP JKTF Ab Quyoom Mir,Lect.Gh Nabi Showkeen,Advisor JKTF Mohd Gulzar Sofi, Apex Member Nasir Usmani,ZP teachers Forum kupwara Tahir Hussain,ZP kralpora Imtiyaz Ahmad were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering Mohd Amin Khan assured the teachers that he will leave no stone unturned to address the core issues of the teachers. Pir Nisar appreciated the services of teachers and assured full support.
The newly elected Zone President vilgam Rayees Masroor during his address appreciated the role of the teachers and assured them that he will always stand up for the teaching community and address their genuine issues whatsoever.
On this occasion Veteran Teacher MMalik shabir assumed the charge as Patron JKTF vilgam,Prominent Teacher Javid Ahmad bhat, took over the charge as secretary JKTF Zone vilgam who during his brief and overwhelming speech highlighted the importance, role and need of a trade union, while as Khan Hilal was given the charge as vice president JKTF vilgam, Yousuf Habib took over as Advisor,Zaheer Abbas Sheikh as legal advisor,M.A Dar and Kulsooma Mushtaq as spokespersons while as Rehana assumed the charge as deputy secretary JKTF vilgam.
