Kralpora (Kupwara): Kralpora Police arrested four thieves and recovered stolen items from their possession.
As per police sources, on January 10 this year a complaint was lodged from Shamasdin Peer of Babapora Panzgam, with Police Station Kralpora station, stating that on July January 10 some unknown persons had stolen his generator.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 2/20201 under section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Kralpora and investigation started.
“After strenuous efforts of Police Station Kralpora four people were arrested on suspicion condition and after preliminary investigations they confessed that they have stolen Generator and Transformer”, said a police official.
SHO Kralpora, Rafiq Lone while confirming this news to Kupwara Times, said that ” A Generator and a transformer were recovered from their possession, all gave have been arrested and are sent to Sub- Jail Kupwara”, he further added that more recoveries are also expected
