Plantation Drive in Lolab

Kafila Foundation (J&K), Forest Department embark on plantation drive to boost green cover at Lolab in presence of CO 41 RR as Guest on occasion.

To maintain green and clean surroundings, Kafila Foundation led by President Ishfaq Ahmad Bhat & Forest Department Led by Aijaz Ahmad Khan today conducted a plantation among the lush green forests here at Cherakote(Lolab).


President Foundation, CO 41 RR Col M S Navalgatti & staff members and a large number of students of the organization participated in the Plantation drive.

Speaking on the occasion, the CO 41 RR highlighted the importance of plantation and protection of forests. He urged the youth to contribute towards the Green drive being conducted by the Kafila Foundation & administration to help in the fighting global warming besides reducing its impact on climate change. He further said that the trees are the lifeline of all living beings and plantation is the only way to stop climate change. He further added that tree plantation is a harbinger of prosperity as they play a pivotal role in reducing pollution.

Meanwhile, the staff and students also took a pledge to create awareness about conservation of nature by planting trees and making campus neat and clean.
