As part of the Aspirational Districts Collaborative (ADC), Piramal Foundation in collaboration with BYJU’S organized one day workshop on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) and Anemia Free Kupwara in BHS Trehgam, Kupwara.
On this occasion Zonal Education Officer Trehgam appreciated the initiative to be implemented by Piramal Foundation in collaboration with BYJUS in the education zone Trehgam.
DIET Resource Person Mr Iqbal expressed views on FLN campaign and requested the teachers to support the initiative for smooth functioning of campaign. He also appreciated the professionalism, dedication and tools of Piramal Foundation team Kupwara.
Piramal Foundation team Kupwara discussed FLN, Anemia Free Kupwara, Aspirational Districts Collaborative program and need of intervention for improvement of Education and Health indicators in the district.
On this occasion Rajan Thakur Project Manager Fellow BYJUS, Kupwara briefed the FLN initiative that the first primary focus is to conduct Baseline Assesment and once it is completed BYJUs in collaboration under this initiative will provide the Digital E Learning content and License to students of class 4th and 5th identified under this campaign.They will also monitor the usage and Learning of the students through their monitoring framework. Through this Digital Learning Content they are trying to build conceptual learning, improve SLO and create environment where every student is able to learn from their home comfort.
It is pertinent to mention that Piramal Foundation is the implementing partner of NITI Aayog in ADC program which currently runs in 112 aspirational districts across the country.
