SRINAGAR :- Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Party United (PPU) held Jam-packed Press conference under the leadership of its State President Ashiq Hussain Beigh, In Which Party General Secretary Advocate Mohammad Aslam Choudhary, Senior Vice-president and Chief Spokesperson Advocate Qazi Ayaz, State Vice President Iqbal Hussain lone, State General Secretary women wing Fareeda Quraishi, State Secretary SC ST Wing Mohammad Rafiq Sheikh, Fayaz Ahmad Bhat State secretary, Mohammad Ashraf lone Provisional President youth wing Jammu, Mohammad Rafiq Bhat, Organisor Chenab valley, Ishfaq Bashir Wani, Youth president Kupwara, Fayaz Ahmad Thoker, Treasurer and Mr. Sheikh Tanver youth President District Ganderbal. The PPU was formed in the year 2014 by its founder Late Ghulam Rasool Doolwal Sahib resident of Kishtwar. Party contested the state Assembly elections of 2014 as well as parliamentary elections in the year 2019 however due to the sudden death of its founder the party could not continue its activities. The party was restructured and relaunched by forming an interim state body comprising of above named members and accordingly relaunching announcement was made by its President today at his residence Chhatrahama Dargah Srinagar. It was announced that the party will bring its manifesto before the people very shortly and it was also announced that the party will participate in the ensuing ULB, Panchayat, Parliamentary, and Assembly elections from all the seats. It was also announced that the party has representation from all the regions of Jammu, Kashmir, Chenab valley, Pirpanjal and is not based on hereditary devolution. The party will carry on its mission under the democratic set up and with the nation first slogan however it was ruled out that the party has any affiliation with any other political party. It was reiterated that the party will contest elections from all the seats and will form the next government in the state however chances of coalition are open with party which emerge as largest one. Party will provide tickets to all those who perform their duties cleanly In the field.
