Kupwara, MAY 5: People should use Tele-Consultation instead of visiting hospital to curb rush in pendamic, Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din, urged people of Kupwara to use Technology and consult doctors online instead of visiting hospitals.
While talking to kupwaratimes.com over phone, the deputy commissioner Kupwara said that the administration is monitoring covid situation 24*7 and that district administration is ready to tackle the situation.
“We are monitoring situation in the district and I personally do visit each area to check whether lockdown is being strictly implemented”, he said.
Asking about the OPD for non-covid patients, the DC said, that as of now, government has notified the OPD within SDH Kupwara premises and TB building and ISM buildings will be used for OPD to non-covid patients as of now.
” There was some mixing of covid and non-covid patients in former OPD. Hence we decided to separate OPD for non-covid patients and to give more ease to people”.
He however urges people not to visit hospital in case there is no emergency.
“People should consult doctor on phone or through video call to avoid risks”.
