Incumbent Peoples Democratic Party Chairperson & former Chief Minister of erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday visited Lalpora in Lolab to extend condolences to the bereaved family of Peer Abdul Ghani Shah.
The visiting political leaders, accompanied by other party members and workers, on the occasion extended her solidarity to the bereaved Shah family.
She invoked the mercy of Almighty Allah to grant the departed soul with highest ranks in Jannah and also prayed for patience to the bereaved family.
Ms. Mehbooba later on visited the residence of Constituency Head Lolab Adv. Dawood Bashir, during which she met and interacted with many public delegations.
The visiting delegations highlighted various issues of importance with Ms Mehbooba, to which the political leader assured that she will take up the issues with authorities for redressal on priority.
Ms Mehbooba later on also visited the grieving family of Reyaz Ahmad Rather who died in a reported ‘boat capsize’ incident in West Bengal recently.
