KUPWARA, FEBRUARY 25: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din today convened a meeting of Observers and Magistrates deployed for conduct of JKSSB Class IV examination in the district.
The meeting was informed that 13,452 candidates are appearing in Class IV examination in the Kupwara district for which adequate arrangements have been made including deployment of Observers and Magistrates at all 16 centres in the district. The examination shall be conducted in 03 consecutive days viz. February 27, 28 and March 01.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner stressed upon the officers to ensure smooth conduct of the examination. He also directed them to reach the examination centre one hour before the beginning of the examination.
Referring to the videography of the examination centres, the Deputy Commissioner said that videographers have been hired to cover the proceedings of the examination especially opening and closing of examination material. He also directed District Information Officer Kupwara to sensitize the videographers about the duties.
ADC Kupwara who is also District Observer of the examination impressed upon the officers to take their duty seriously and ensure transparency and timeliness in the conduct of the examination.
Meanwhile, according to Deputy Commissioner, Section 144 CrPc shall remain imposed around 200 meter radius of the examination centre during the examination days.
