Member Parliament Fayaz Ahmad Mir along with the Kupwara Municipal councillors today called on the Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Shri Kiren Rijuji in New Delhi this afternoon,During their hour long meeting various issues pertaining to District kupwara were discussed
The issues which were highlighted by Member Parliament included completion of Sports stadium in kupwara,better connectivity to the Stadium via Lolab road & issue of NIS Certified Coaches from J&K trained under Prime Minister Package.
Besides,Fayaz Mir also urged Union minister to engage the youth of J&K in sporting & constructive activities.
The Union Minister gave a patient hearing to MP Fayaz Mir and said that all the highlighted issues will be taken on priority & issured him that the ministry will be releasing 7crores for the project he took up.
Member Parliament was accompanied by the President Municipal council kupwara Reyaz ahmad,councillors including Tariq ahmad,Mushtaq ahmad,Ab ahad & activist Ghulam Qadir.
