Member of Parliament,Fayaz Ahmad Mir on Thursday paid rich tribute to PDP Founder & Former Chief Minister late Mufti Muhammad Sayeed on his 5th death anniversary in kupwara.
While addressing the workers at kupwara Mir said, Mir described Mufti Mohd Sayeed as a visionary political leader with a commitment to transform J&K into a developed and a prosperous state.
Mir added, He was a far sighted political leader and an astute administrator who, during his two tenures as chief minister or union minister remained focussed on securing development.
On his death anniversary, Mir said that they have pledged to take his mission forward and want peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue.
He also demanded immediate release of leaders and other people who are in detention.
