As per the statement which reads,All J&K NHM Employees Association have been stressing hard at the peak of their voices for last more than one decade demanding social security to the employees and their families. It remains a fact that NHM employees loss their lives while providing service to the people.

The athorities has pledging to provide ex-gratia assistance and job to next of kin of deceased employees working in ambit of NHM and funds under social security upto tune of 2 crore where also approved during previous financial year out of which only 1 beneficiary benefited, and for strange reasons Ex-Gratia to other deceased has not been initiated yet despite funds allocated. It is pertinent to mention that employees had volunteered to contribute to a fund for the purpose, but alas, the apathy of the authorities are showing no interest.
