Magistrates, Poll staff, material dispatched for Kalaroos, Kralpora, Tangdar DDC constituencies
Kupwara, November 27: The polling parties and polling material for conduct of DDC election in 03 constituencies, viz. Kalaroos, Kralpora and Tangdar has been dispatched today from District Police Lines Kupwara and GDC Tangdar. The concerned ROs and Nodal officers supervised the distribution of the polling staff and material.
According to District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO) Kupwara, Anshul Garg 167 polling stations have been established in these 03 constituencies including border Karnah, Machill and Keran for which 505 polling staff has been detailed and dispatched to the concerned destinations. The zonal and sectoral magistrates vis a vis police zonal sectoral officers have also been deployed to their respective polling destinations.
DPEO said that all border roads including Keran and Machill have been cleared from snow and are open for traffic.
Meanwhile, DPEO Kupwara has appointed SDM Lolab, Aijaz Ahmad Bhat as Nodal Officer for Induction and De-Induction of polling staff. The Nodal Officer shall also coordinate between civil and police administration to monitor the process properly.
