In its continuous action against drugs peddlers in district Kupwara , Police today has detained two notorious drugs peddlers under PSA Samiulla bakshi @Danraj son Hafizulla Bakshi of Branwari kupwara
and Iqbal Jaffer Dar s/o Mohd Abdullah Dar resident of chalgund Hyama after finding them incorrigible and deeply involved in narcotics smuggling and peddling among youth .
Samiullah Bakshi infamously known as Dhanraj is not only a narcotics peddler but is also involved in four other criminal cases including theft in Kupwara town. Despite his arrest in the previous cases Dhanraj continues to be involved in drugs peddling without fear of law. Iqbal Jaffar Dar is equally deeply involved in narcotics smuggling and has spread a network of drugs syndicate in the district. Previously involved in three cases and facing trial , Iqbal is a incorrigible peddler secretly building a network of drugs syndicate.
The duo were detained under PSA after the warrants for their detention were issued by the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir on the dossiers presented by SSP Kupwara.(kupwaratimes.com)
