Kupwara, May 18 : To ensure strict implementation of Corona Curfew and adhering of guidelines issued by Government in view of COVID-19 Pandemic, SSP Kupwara, Dr.G.V Sundeep Chakravarthy (IPS) , Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din (KAS) and Chairman Muncipal Council Kupwara Reyaz Ahmad Mir Conducted market Checking of Town Kupwara and its adjacent areas and checked nakasdeployed at different locations of the District Kupwara.
During checking SSP ordered the men deployed for Corona curfew not to allow unnecessary movement of vehicles and pedestrians in the area. He further stressed upon the subordinate officers to activate their men to avoid any untoward incident.
Deputy Commissioner Kupwara appreciated the role of Kupwara Police during COVID-19 and said that Kupwara Police is playing an important role to save the lives of people of the District during Pandemic. He further extorted upon Officers and Jawans to keep their good work with sincere efforts and be alert while performing their duties.
SSP Kupwara, Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy (IPS) thanked People of Kupwara for adhering Lockdown orders and following guidelines/SOP’s issued time to time to restrain further spread of Corona Virus.
SSP Kupwara once again appeals the general public to follow COVID-19 guidelines/SOP’s, so that the Pandemic can be Controlled.
