Kamraj Forest Division carries out anti-encroachment drive

“7.22 hectares encroached forest land retrieved”

Kupwara : Kamraj Forest Division Kupwara carries anti encroahment drive in Kupwara. According to officails, the whole 7.22 hac encroached forest land retrieved in Patushai Block North Lolab Range Zangli of Kamraj Forest Division Kupwara.

“A joint team of territorial forest staff of North Lolab Range, Block Forest Officers of NL and staff of Forest Protection Force RC Wavoora headed by Range Officer North Lolab Parvaiz Ahmad Bhat and AD Forest Protection Force retrieved the whole 7.22 hectares of encroached forest land in Patushai block .

This evictions comes after strict instructions issued by Conservator of Forests Kashmir North Circle Sopore and Divisional Forest Officer Kamraj Kupwara to field officials to show zero tolerance towards such encroachments.

Parvaiz Ahmad Bhat Range Officer North Lolab, said that such drives will be continuously carried out in future as well.
