Srinagar, June 19: Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM) has paid rich tributes to prominent Islamic scholar Dr Qazi Nisar Ahmad on his 26th death anniversary.
While paying homage to the late religious scholar, JKPM Vice President Advocate Syed Iqbal Tahir said that Late Dr Qazi Nisar was extremely compassionate towards the poor and needy and worked for their welfare.
“His contribution to the religious and moral upbringing of society will always be remembered. The religious philosophy preached by Late Qazi Nisar Ahmad would continue to be the source of inspiration for generations to come”, Iqbal Tahir said in his statement.
